Iris is the goddess of the rainbow, she is also the messenger for the Olympians. In art work, she is commonly depicted holding a pitcher because she would fly down and collect water and then carry it up to the clouds. She would also use this pitcher to serve nectar to gods/goddesses, this is how she would receive messages and pass them along to whoever needed them. Iris is also known to be very fast, being able to travel between Mount Olympus, to Earth, even the Underworld very quickly.

The Greek Mythology collection is one I’ve had in my brain for almost a year now and I am so excited to have it available now!

Some background on these acrylic material pieces, all shapes/illustrations are designed by me either on my iPad or on Adobe Illustrator. They are cut out with a laser cutter and then need to have their backings peeled off front and back before they are assembled.

Despite being a type of plastic, they are still very durable and lightweight. All the earrings posts are nickel free and hypoallergenic. To attach my earring posts, I use resin, if you have any known allergies, feel free to reach out to me via email and I can use another method for you.
